Famine has afflicted at least 350,000 people in northern Ethiopia’s conflict-ravaged Tigray region. The region is once again hit by turmoil, after reeling from a year of multiple disasters including COVID-19, and a massive flooding. In the region, about 2 million people have been forced to flee their homes since the beginning of the conflict last November.

African Services Committee is on the ground providing essential aid, critical medical supplies and emergency food for people who are in desperate need of humanitarian relief. Through ASC’s Health and Community Development Center in Mekelle, capital city of the Tigray region, African Services Committee is positioned to help those in urgent need.
